The calculators in this section help you run quick numbers before you talk to a bank, a lawyer or an agent. They're for orientation, not quotes.

Our assumptions

  • Closing costs: include the 3% property transfer tax (example data), lawyer fees of 1% to 1.5% (example data), and notary and registry fees. In practice, the tax is charged on whichever is higher, the price or the DGII appraisal; the calculator uses the price you enter.
  • Mortgage: fixed monthly payment with monthly interest. The default rate, term and down payment are example values.
  • Yield: estimated income minus typical expenses (management, maintenance, insurance and IPI property tax), divided by the total investment. It's a reference point, not a forecast.

Every default value is example data, so swap in your own numbers.

Nothing these tools show is an offer of credit or a guaranteed return. Real terms are set by each bank based on your profile. Always confirm with your lender and your lawyer.
