At HomeDominican we respect your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, what we use it for and what rights you have. We follow Dominican Law 172-13 on the protection of personal data and, for visitors from the European Union, the general principles of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What we collect
- Contact and call forms: name, email address, phone number and your message.
- Free guide: your name and email when you request the downloadable guide.
- Saved properties: the properties you mark as favorites.
- Site usage: analytics events such as pages viewed, button clicks or form submissions, in aggregate and without advertising profiles.
What we use it for
- Answering your questions and scheduling your free call.
- Sending you the guide you asked for and, only if you agree, other useful content.
- Putting you in touch with the verified agent you choose.
- Improving the site by understanding which content is useful.
Legal basis
We process your data based on the consent you give when you submit a form, and in order to respond to your request. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your data. We only share it with the specific verified agent or professional you choose to contact, and with the providers that help us run the site, such as web hosting and our email service, who may only use it to provide that service to us.
How long we keep it
We keep contact details for up to 24 months (example data) after your last interaction, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Analytics data is kept in aggregate form.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, and unsubscribe from our emails using the link in every message. Write to privacidad@homedominican.com and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
Cookies
We only use essential cookies needed for the site to work, plus one cookie that remembers your language preference. We don't use advertising cookies.
International transfers
Some of our providers may store data outside the Dominican Republic or your own country. When that happens, we work with providers that offer appropriate data-protection safeguards.
